Horween Latigo Cowhide Watch Strap

Meticulously handmade in Japan by our good friends at Accurate Form, our Horween Latigo watch straps have been crafted painstakingly to pair perfectly with any vintage watch.

The Latigo leather undergoes both chrome tanning and vegetable tanning, and is carefully treated with a plethora of oils and waxes to create a strong, supple and yet buttery soft leather with a raw and natural look.

The laborious tanning and oil infusion processes create a moisture-resistant leather that is less rigid than full vegetable-tanned leather, but more rigid than full chromed-tanned leather, embodying little stretch and transforms from rigid to soft in a short time. Due to the heavier weight and intensive tanning, the Latigo leather is considered to be one of the most expensive cowhide leathers.

As with all leathers produced by the renowned tannery, the Horween Leather Company, the Horween Latigo leather promises a quality leather that will age beautifully. With wear and care, the watch strap will develop an outstanding patina to complement any vintage watch perfectly.
