Patek Philippe Ref. 3424 Asymétrie
1950s
A fine timepiece designed by famed jeweller Gilbert Albert and produced in the 1950s, this reference is a reflection of the influence modernism had on Albert at the time. The unique asymmetrical case revealed Albert’s daring exploration of form, breaking free from the typical silhouette of that era. This reference is part of a small selection of Albert’s designs which made it beyond the prototype phase to the production stage and was manufactured in limited quantities in four precious metals – white gold, rose gold, yellow gold and platinum.
The dial features black enamel sector lines – a design favoured by Albert and present in other references in the Richochet collection.
