International Watch Company Ref. 666 Ingenieur
1970
German for Engineer, the Ingenieur by IWC is named after the very people that the wristwatch was engineered for. In addition to being waterproof, the IWC Ingenieur features a soft iron inner case, functioning as a Faraday shield, protecting the watch movement from electromagnetic fields (commonly found in scientific equipment), giving the wristwatch antimagnetism up to 80,000 A/m, or 1000 Gauss.
